Kristen M. Driskill, Ed.D., is an Associate Professor of Inclusive Education at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York and a leading expert in teacher preparation and inclusive pedagogy. Her extensive career, spanning over 25 years, includes roles as a special education teacher, reading teacher, literacy coach, and professor. Dr. Driskill’s scholarly work is deeply rooted in her commitment to social justice and equity, with a focus on preparing future educators to serve diverse student populations. Her research interests include clinical practice in teacher education, school-university partnerships, culturally responsive teaching, and mental health in adolescents.

A highly sought-after presenter, Dr. Driskill regularly shares her expertise at prominent conferences, including the Association of Teacher Educators and the National Association of Professional Development Schools. Her dedication to the profession is further demonstrated through her service on numerous committees and advisory boards, including her role as a founding member of the Anti-Racism Committee for the National Association for Professional Development Schools. She holds permanent certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Reading Education and professional certifications in School Building Leader and School District Leader from New York State.
